Adam's war is far from over.
Last year, his children asked Santa for one gift - to bring their Daddy home from Syria.
This year, they will ask Santa to help feed their bellies.
Home for eight months, their Daddy still hasn't found a job. Mommy cries as she opens the bare refrigerator scrounging for something to cook for dinner. What they don't know is why? Mommy used to read bedtime stories while Daddy was way 'fighting the bad guys' and it always ended with "and, they lived happily ever after."
But for Adam, the sight of blood shed, the cries of mothers shielding their babies from death is not a fairytale book. It is his unspoken nightmare. For now while he undergoes therapy to battle against Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adam relies on Faith Restorations food pantry to help feed his family. But with the holiday approaching and more of his comrades returning home in need - the shelves at the pantry are starting to become bare.
YOU CAN HELP!
This Giving Tuesday give the gift of peace to Adam and his family. Faith Restorations needs $3,000 to stock the pantry shelves for the month of December. Every dollar counts. Every cent may lead to a 'happily ever after' for a veteran who just needs some time to win his 'war.'
